A late 19th-century Victorian condiment cruet set. The lot consists of a silver-plated stand featuring a high handle with a decorative crown-style finial and a central foliate plaque. The circular revolving base is embellished with an embossed border of geometric and floral patterns and contains five apertures. The stand is supported by a spreading pedestal base. The set includes five clear glass bottles, each decorated with wheel-etched foliate and fern motifs. The glass is mould-blown with horizontal banding. The group comprises two shakers with domed metal caps, two cruet bottles for oil and vinegar, and one mustard pot with a faceted glass lid and an internal serving spoon. One cruet bottle retains a clear glass stopper. Dimensions: Height approx. 42 cm (measured from a scale in inches). Condition: The silver-plated stand shows heavy oxidisation, tarnish, and wear to the plating, revealing the base metal. One cruet bottle is missing its glass stopper. The metal shaker caps exhibit surface corrosion. General surface grime is present across all components.
