A Victorian silver-plated revolving castor set featuring an ornate circular frame supported by a flared pedestal base. The frame is decorated with an engraved band of floral and geometric motifs and is surmounted by a tall, decorative pierced handle with foliate and floral scrollwork. The set contains five clear pressed glass bottles with paneled bodies, each featuring etched or wheel-engraved foliate sprays to the centre. The collection includes two tall bottles with flared rims, a mustard pot with a hinged domed metal lid, a shaker with a threaded metal cap, and a smaller bottle with a ground rim. The underside of the base displays iridescent oxidation. United Kingdom silver (recheck metal and hallmarks). Approximate height (measured against a ruler): 40 cm. Condition: The metal frame shows heavy tarnish and surface oxidation throughout. The silver plating exhibits wear and loss in high-contact areas. The metal lids for the mustard pot and shaker are heavily corroded. The glass bottles are intact but show significant interior residue and clouding. Original glass stoppers for the two tall bottles are absent.
