A mid-century spun copper pitcher manufactured by the West Bend Aluminum Co. of West Bend, Wisconsin. The vessel is of cylindrical form featuring a flared rim with a small pinched pouring spout. The exterior is decorated with a central embossed motif depicting a wheat sheaf tied with a ribbon, accented by four concentric incised lines around the lower base. It is fitted with a block-style handle of dark-stained wood, secured by two recessed screws. The underside is stamped with the maker's mark: SOLID COPPER / A PRODUCT OF / WEST BEND ALUMINUM CO. / WEST BEND, WIS., U.S.A. Dimensions (measured against a ruler showing inches): Height approx. 20.3 cm; Rim diameter approx. 12.1 cm. Condition: The pitcher is in good vintage condition. The polished copper exterior exhibits scattered surface scratches, small spots of tarnish, and minor pitting consistent with age. The interior shows significant dark oxidation and tarnish from use. The wooden handle remains structurally sound with minor surface wear. No apparent restoration.
