Regal China Kraft Marshmallows Ceramic Cookie Jar

A vintage American ceramic advertising cookie jar produced for Kraft Inc., modeled in the form of a seated teddy bear named T. Bear. The piece features a dark brown textured glaze simulating fur, a lighter tan muzzle, and a tan vest. The vest is detailed with a blue bow tie and a circular badge reading I LOVE KRAFT MARSHMALLOWS in blue and orange lettering. The bear's head serves as the removable lid. The underside of the base bears several impressed and stamped marks including GENUINE REGAL CHINA, MADE IN USA, a cursive T. Bear signature, a bear paw print, and copyright information reading © Kraft INC. 1982.Height: 15 inchesWidth: 9 inchesDepth: 9 inchesThe cookie jar is in good vintage condition. Fine all-over crazing is present throughout the glaze, most prominent on the tan vest and muzzle sections. The unglazed foot rim shows minor shelf wear and dark staining from use. A few scattered white pin-sized spots are present on the brown fur sections, consistent with typical inherent manufacturing glaze skips. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are present.
