RCA DRC279RE HDMI DVD Player with Remote

Updated August 27, 2026

RCA DVD player, model DRC279RE, in the slim black case. The rear label reads RCA DVD PLAYER LECTEUR DVD, AC120V 60Hz 8W, AVC MULTIMEDIA, Markham, Ontario L3R 1E3, Made in China, with the ETL listed mark and number 9901321. A second rear label reads MANUFACTURED JUNE 2009 with serial number EJ1701D14234. The front panel has a standby on button, a slot loading disc tray, open close, play and stop buttons, and DVD Video, Dolby Digital and HDMI logos printed on the face. Rear connections include an HDMI output and an optical digital audio output, and the two prong power cord is attached. Includes the player, power cord and original style black RCA remote. No HDMI cable, no audio or video cables, and no batteries for the remote are included. The housing is dusty with light scuffs and a scratch across the top panel. The player was not plugged in or powered on, so it sells untested. The HDMI output sends picture and sound to a flat panel over one cable and upscales standard definition discs. Estimated Value: $15 to $30 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
