830 Silver Geode Ring and Opal Look Studs

Two piece lot pairing a large statement ring with a small pair of stud earrings. (1) The ring is a bold cocktail style with a rough natural geode nodule held in a six prong silver colored setting on an adjustable open band. The stone is a gray and tan agate geode with a bumpy outer surface and a pale crystal pocket open across the face. The inside of the band is stamped 830, a European silver standard meaning 83 percent pure silver, seen most often on older Scandinavian and German jewelry. (2) The earrings are small oval studs with milky white stones that flash pink and blue fire, set in gold colored openwork frames of twisted ribbon design, with post backs. Condition is good with honest wear. The ring shows tarnish and surface wear along the band, and the earrings show darkened spots and wear to the gold colored finish. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Estimated Value: $30 to $60 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
