Two piece lot of vintage cuff bracelets, both set with abalone shell. (1) The larger cuff is a wide, heavy tapered band of sterling silver with a long channel of abalone shell inlay running the full length of the front. The inlay is cut into interlocking wave shapes separated by fine silver lines and flashes green, purple, rose, and gold. The inside carries two stamps: a round maker mark reading HECHO EN MEXICO 925 around a set of initials, and beside it a second stamp reading STERLING MEXICO. (2) The smaller cuff is a three band open style built from two plain round wires with a twisted rope wire between them, centered by a heart shaped abalone shell cabochon in a bezel with a twisted rope border. No maker mark or metal stamp was visible on this second cuff in the photos. Condition is good on both, with tarnish down in the recesses, small scattered nicks on the wide cuff, and complete inlay with no missing sections. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Estimated Value: $60 to $125 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
