Necklace built around a real scallop shell pendant with a freshwater pearl accent. The shell is a natural gray and charcoal colored scallop with fine ribbing fanning out from the hinge, hung from a jump ring with a single small cream colored pearl set at the top where the drill hole is. The chain is a flat box link that reads gold colored in some light and silver colored in others, normal for a plated chain that has seen wear, and it closes with a spring ring clasp. No metal stamp was visible on the clasp or anywhere on the chain in the photos, so this should be treated as a costume chain rather than precious metal. Condition is good for age. The chain shows plating wear and light tarnish, and the shell has natural pitting and color variation along the outer surface. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Estimated Value: $15 to $30 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
