Constructed of heavy molded brown leather, this pair of antique protective leg gaiters features a contoured design tailored to fit the lower limb. Likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, each piece incorporates integrated leather adjustment straps and aged metal tension buckles, a style consistent with equestrian, cavalry, or artillery riding gear. No visible maker's marks, acceptance stamps, or serial numbers are present. Condition is consistent with age and historical use, exhibiting surface wear, scuffing, leather stiffness, and light oxidation on the metal hardware. The molded form remains structurally intact and holds its shape well. Each gaiter measures 11.5 inches tall. Featuring strong visual appeal, this pair servesas an excellent display piece for collectors of vintage equestrian equipment, early militaria, or antique leather militaria. No maker marks are visible.
