A WWII-era German Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) hard-shell brown pebbled leather medical satchel measuring 8.0" x 7.25" x 3.0". The back exterior is clearly heat-embossed "D.R.K. Sanitätslager Babelsberg 63", indicating issuance from the primaryDRK depot in Babelsberg. Constructed with a reinforced leather top carry handle, D-rings for a shoulder strap, and front closure straps with metal studs, the interior reveals compartmentalized dividers and ink-written personalization reading "WalterFischer" under the main flap. Condition reflects heavy field use, exhibiting significant leather scuffing, finish loss, cracking along stress points, and partial detachment to the internal leather pouch lining.
