(2) Wool petticoats

ca. mid-late 1ate 19th century; Both are adult size woman's woolen petticoats with bright colors and cotton waist band: 1. Lightweight red and black wool weave petticoat with black cordage tie, light brown cotton weave waist band and fine woven fabric in bands and stripe pattern with a check-weave design bottom, 24" waist x 34"L, Condition: good. 2. Heavy wool coarse plaid weave winter petticoat with cotton-print waist band, beautifully woven with dark green, red and black coarse spun wools. The pin-type waistband is a light brown plaid woven cotton. The same cotton fabric is used as a 6" wide liner to the lower hem with 3/4 length folded accent, 30" waist x 38" L, Condition: A couple of small holes in upper quarter, otherwise very good.
