ca. early 19th century; Marked with a "five pip, dice marking", the traditional ball shaped tea kettle is dovetail constructed with rivet set gooseneck spout. The tea kettle has an arched swing-handle, copper hinge-pinned on half-rounded flange mounts that are copper rivet set with a domed lid with brass knob; 9" dia. X 12 1/2" x 7"; Condition: Cleaned and polished with a few dents. Interior tin wash removed, should not be used for boiling of water without being re-tinned.
