ca. 19th century; Unique design walnut box-type tape weaving loom with scrollwork carved loom head. The walnut box is mitered and pin nail constructed with softwood bottom and molded edge slide-lid openings. The loom board is a fancy frame with scroll-cut and carved double-scroll crest with posts that are scrollwork cut & carved. The winder is mounted between two round topped scroll-cut posts; 21 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 16 1/2"; Condition: Extensive powder post beetle damage. *Note - Should have professional help to irradicate any further damage.
