ca. mid-late 19th century; The clockworks key-wind operated bottle jack is designed as a hanging revolving roasting spit. The brass case top is marked "Salter #25" with rope and arrow design strike. The bottle jack spit has one complete cast iron adjustable hanging ring; 4 1/2" dia. X 14" with 7" dia. spit ring; Condition: no key, unknown if working
