ca. mid-late 19th century; Unknown origin box in mixed hardwoods, T pin-nail constructed with staple and wire hinged domed lid. The box a mixed sponge-print and grain painted decoration with the lid, front and ends having brown and orange pinstripe accents.; 7 1/2" x 4 5/8" x 3 1/2"H; [Provenance: attached tag "Found in Ohio"]; Condition: Possibly a Continental dresser box.
