ca. late 19th-early 20th century; Attributed to Maine, four plunger-type butter prints with steel banded coopered walnut wood round molds. Each has a hexagon shape carved print block with turned peg handled square stock plungers. Each mold is turned round with steel band hoops and chip-carved print faces including: star flower; double strawberry; thistle flower with big leaves; eight-point star flower with leaf wreath; 3 3/4" - 4 3/4" dia. X 4 1/2"- 6 1/2"H.; plungers: 7 3/4" L; [Provenance: ex-John Rogers]; Condition: all complete in good-very good condition.
