From the Roaring Twenties comes this 1927 Silver Peace Dollar, showcasing the bold artistry and symbolism of one of America's most recognizable silver dollar designs. Struck in 90% silver, it contains approximately .7734 troy ounces of pure silver. Anthony de Francisci's Liberty portrait appears on the obverse, while the reverse features a bald eagle perched on a rock with an olive branch, representing peace. The Peace Dollar was introduced in 1921 following World War I and was minted through 1935. The 1927 issue is a popular addition to any Peace Dollar collection, offering a combination of classic American design, historical significance, and substantial silver content.
