This 1962-D Franklin Half Dollar was struck at the Denver Mint and features a portrait of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse. The reverse showcases the iconic Liberty Bell with a small eagle positioned beside it. The Franklin Half Dollar was produced from 1948 through 1963 and was the final regular-issue U.S. half dollar series containing 90% silver. The 1962-D issue represents one of the later years of this popular series and remains a favorite among collectors of classic American silver coinage. 90% Silver • .3617 Troy Oz Silver • 1962-D • Denver Mint • Franklin Half Dollar
