Collection of three vintage brass hand and desk bells in distinctive forms. The standout piece is a double-bell feather/quill desk bell measuring approximately 6" tall x 9" long. The sculptural feather-form handle connects two differently sized bells, and both bells retain their individual clappers and are functional. Comparable examples are described as vintage solid brass double-bell feather or quill desk/service bells. Also included are two traditional long-handled brass bells. One features a flared body decorated with an engraved and hand-painted Native American chief profile with feathered headdress in red, blue, and black accents. The second has a more understated stepped bell body with a tall turned-form handle. One of these bells is marked Made in India. Vintage Indian brass hand bells were commonly produced with engraved and painted decoration and internal clappers. All three retain their clappers and show varying patina, tarnish, discoloration, and surface wear consistent with age and use. Double Quill Bell: Approx. 6" x 9" See photos for details.
