"Anita Polacca" Signed Hopi Pottery Jar

Signed Hopi pottery jar by Anita Polacca, featuring a beautifully hand-painted geometric design in black and reddish-brown over a warm golden/tan clay body. The vessel measures approximately 4.5" tall x 5" wide and has a classic rounded form with a slightly flared neck. The decoration wraps extensively around the vessel and incorporates bold geometric, abstract, linear, spiral and stepped motifs, with fine parallel line work and sweeping black forms creating strong visual contrast. The underside is signed “Anita Polacca”, and the piece was accompanied by a handwritten identification note stating “Anita Polacca Signed – Hopi pottery.” An excellent collectible example of Hopi Pueblo pottery and Southwestern Native American ceramic art, particularly appealing to collectors of signed Indigenous pottery, Arizona Pueblo art, hand-painted pottery and vintage Southwestern décor. Measures approximately 4.5" H x 5" W. Preowned condition with visible surface wear, scratches, scuffs, rubbing and other age-related imperfections, particularly around the upper portion and rim.
