Beautiful vintage Hopi Pueblo pottery bowl, measuring approximately 3" tall x 5" wide. This hand-painted pottery vessel has a rounded, low-profile form with a short open neck and warm orange/tan clay surface decorated with bold black and reddish-brown geometric designs. The decoration features sweeping curved elements, linear bands, abstract geometric forms, and a textured stippled section, creating a striking Southwestern design around the body of the bowl. The interior is finished in the natural warm clay tone. The underside does not appear to be artist-signed; there is a lightly pencil marking that appears to read “4-13” A wonderful piece for a collection of Hopi pottery, Pueblo pottery, Native American ceramics, vintage Southwestern art, Arizona pottery, Indigenous pottery, hand-painted pottery, Southwest décor, tribal art, traditional pottery, vintage Pueblo ceramics, geometric pottery, 1970s pottery, American Indian art, Arizona Native American art, and Southwestern collectibles. Measures approximately 3" H x 5" W. Vintage preowned condition with age-related surface wear, light scratches, marks, minor paint wear and imperfections consistent with handmade and older pottery. No artist signature was located. Please review all photographs carefully for design, construction, markings and condition.
