A partial porcelain dinner and tea service produced by the Ilmenau factory in the German Democratic Republic. The service is crafted from glazed white porcelain featuring subtly scalloped rims and gilded borders. The decoration consists of varied multi-coloured floral sprays, including roses, tulips, and bellflowers, executed in shades of pink, orange, purple, and blue. The collection includes dinner plates, saucers, and tea cups with scrolled handles. The base of each piece is marked with a green underglaze backstamp featuring a crown above the name JLMENAU, a scrolled ribbon containing the text Graf von Henneberg-Porzellan 1777, and the inscription Made in German Democratic Republic. Dinner plate diameter approx. 27.3 cm Saucer diameter approx. 14.6 cm. Condition: Generally good condition. There is a small chip to the rim of one saucer. Minor surface scratching and light rubbing to the gilded borders are present, consistent with age and use.
