One partial porcelain service in the Minuet pattern by Belfor, Czechoslovakia. The set is manufactured from fine white porcelain and decorated with transfer-printed floral sprays of pink roses, yellow and blue flowers, and purple berries. The pieces feature a moulded basketweave (ozier) texture to the borders and are finished with gilded rims. The undersides bear a blue printed backstamp depicting a crown within a shield, with the text MINUET above and FINE BOHEMIAN CHINA BELFOR FROM CZECHOSLOVAKIA inside the mark. The service consists of two oval platters, a gravy boat with a separate oval underplate, four teacups, four matching saucers, one creamer, and one twin-handled lidded sugar bowl. Large platter length approx. 44 cm (measured against a ruler) Saucer diameter approx. 15 cm (measured against a ruler) Sugar bowl height approx. 13 cm (measured against a ruler) Teacup height approx. 6 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The service is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of restoration. There is minor wear to the gilding on the rims consistent with age and light use.
