A partial fine porcelain dinner service in the Minuet pattern by Belfor, produced in Czechoslovakia. The set comprises a large lidded soup tureen with scrolled handles and a matching scroll finial, a smaller lidded oval vegetable dish, rimmed soup bowls, and ceramic ladles. Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed floral bouquets featuring a central pink rose surrounded by blue, yellow, and orange blossoms. The porcelain bodies feature a relief-moulded basketweave textured border to the rims and bodies, finished with scalloped edges and gold-gilt trim. The underside of the pieces displays a blue backstamp within a crowned shield reading FINE BOHEMIAN CHINA BELFOR FROM CZECHOSLOVAKIA with the pattern name MINUET below. Soup tureen width: approx. 28 cm Soup bowl diameter: approx. 23 cm. Condition: The set is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant losses to the gilding. Minor surface wear and faint utensil marks are present, commensurate with age and use. The ladles are currently secured together with temporary blue tape.
