WWI U.S. Model 1917 C.T. bolo knife manufactured by Plumb, St. Louis. Features a broad single-edge steel blade, wood grip panels, steel pommel and wide crossguard. Blade is marked "PLUMB / ST. LOUIS" on one side and "U.S. MOD. / 1917 C.T." on the reverse. Comes with its brown leather sheath fitted with a metal throat, belt hooks and reinforced leather attachment. A substantial U.S. military field knife from the World War I period. Shows age-related wear, patina, oxidation and surface marks throughout. Leather sheath shows expected wear from age and use. 15" overall length, 10" blade.
