WWI-era Swedish Model 1896 Mauser rifle bayonet featuring a straight steel blade with central fuller, all-metal hilt with finely checkered grip, hooked locking mechanism, and muzzle ring. Ricasso bears the Swedish crown over "EJ AB" marking for Eskilstuna Jernmanufaktur AB. Steel scabbard is accompanied by its brown leather belt frog with retaining strap and buckle. Good overall condition with age-appropriate surface wear, scratches, oxidation and patina. Overall length 13"; blade 8 1/4".
