WWII-period Chinese National Revolutionary Army officer dagger featuring a straight steel blade with central fuller and pointed tip. The decorative grip is fitted with embossed brass floral mounts over a carved and colored handle, with a small crossguard terminating in ball finials. Accompanied by its original-style wood scabbard with ornate brass throat and tip fittings decorated with floral motifs and pierced details. A distinctive Chinese military edged weapon dating to the Republic of China / WWII era. Good overall condition with age-related wear, oxidation and surface marks to blade and fittings; guard is loose. Overall length 14"; blade 9 1/2".
