Stunning antique Kalaga tapestry from Burma (Myanmar) or Thailand, richly hand-embroidered and framed, featuring a regal procession of royal figures riding elephants, chariots, and horses. This dazzling textile artwork is crafted from black velvet and heavily adorned with metallic thread, sequins, faux pearls, colored glass beads, and ornate appliqué work. Each figure is rendered in intricate detail, dressed in traditional attire and set against a background of stylized clouds and decorative floral motifs. 48" x 65" framed.
