Manufactured by the German firm Armand Marseille, this antique doll features a bisque socket head incised with mold number 390 and a blonde curly wig. The doll is mounted to a ball-jointed composition body with a handwritten provenance inscription dated 1939 on the torso reverse. Design details include blue weighted sleep eyes and an open mouth with porcelain teeth, complemented by a green lustrous dress and metallic footwear. Height: 24 inches. This doll shows expected wear for its age, including typical surface crazing and minor finish loss to the composition body. The bisque head is well-preserved with no visible damage, and the weighted sleep eyes are functional.
