An assortment of mid-century dolls including two examples by the German manufacturer Schildkröt and one by the American company Knickerbocker. The collection features a Schildkröt boy dressed in a detailed felt lederhosen ensemble and a girl in a floral print cotton dress, both displaying the signature turtle mark on the neck. Also included is a boxed Knickerbocker baby doll with blue sleep eyes, a girl in a blue gingham dress, and a figure in traditional folk costume with an embroidered cap. Range in height from 6 to 10.5 inches. This collection remains in good vintage condition with typical surface wear and aging expected from mid-20th-century dolls. The painted features show minor loss in some areas, and the cardboard box for the baby doll is significantly distressed with tearing and crushing.
