Effanbee Wee Patsy composition doll accompanied by a 1940s composition boy character doll. The Wee Patsy doll is embossed with maker marks on the back of the torso and features molded brown hair with textured waves and painted blue eyes with lashes. She is dressed in a pink mesh overdress with white lace trim at the neckline, pink ribbon bows at the shoulders, and matching lace-trimmed panties. Her feet feature molded and painted white socks and black Mary Jane shoes. The larger boy doll is of unknown manufacture and features molded reddish-brown hair and painted blue side-glancing googlie eyes. He wears a multi-piece sewn-on outfit consisting of a brown herringbone tweed jacket and matching trousers, a red and white gingham shirt with a white collar, and a black ribbon necktie. The ensemble is completed by a brown felt hat and white buck shoes with button details and ribbon laces. Effanbee height: 6 inches Boy height: 10.5 inches. These dolls exhibit expected age-related wear and surface scuffing to the composition. The smaller doll presents well with light surface wear. The larger doll shows more significant crazing, cracking, and areas of paint loss to the head and fingertips.
