Striking late 20th-century table lamp featuring a large domed reverse-painted glass shade by Danish-American artist Ulla Darni, celebrated for her richly layered floral lighting designs. The expansive shade is painted from the interior with a lush, atmospheric arrangement of roses, buds, and sweeping foliage rendered in soft cream, blush, lavender, teal, emerald, and deep blue-green tones, creating a luminous garden-like effect when illuminated. The shade bears a visible “Ulla” signature within the painted decoration. It is mounted to a dark patinated metal trumpet-form table lamp base fitted with three pull-chain sockets and a pierced metal heat cap, the overall silhouette strongly recalling early 20th-century Handel and related reverse-painted lamp forms. The shade appears free of obvious major cracks or breaks in the supplied photographs, with expected light surface wear and minor irregularities consistent with age and hand-painted manufacture; the metal base displays scattered oxidation, patina, and surface wear, and the electrical components appear older and should be professionally inspected prior to use. Measures 23.5"H overall and shade is 7"H x 18.5"W.
