Tiffany Studios New York patinated bronze candlestick, circa 1905–1915, designed with a sculptural three-legged tripod standard rising from a shaped triangular base to a deeply fluted urn-form candle cup with broad circular rim. The bronze retains an attractive dark brown surface with pronounced green verdigris undertones, particularly to the recessed areas and underside, giving the piece the richly aged surface associated with Tiffany bronze work. The base incorporates a cast circular heraldic-style medallion with shield and flanking figures, while the underside bears a partially worn impressed “Tiffany Studios New York” mark. Tiffany produced numerous tripod-form bronze candlesticks during this period, including examples with similarly elongated supports and ornamental candle cups; documented examples are commonly impressed with the firm’s New York mark. Condition is good antique condition with oxidation, verdigris, surface rubbing, scratches, and expected age-related wear throughout; the impressed underside marking is partially obscured by oxidation but remains discernible. A handsome and architectural example of Tiffany Studios’ Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau metalwork. Measures 7.75"H x 4.5"W.
