Decorative table lamp featuring a large domed glass shade reverse-painted with an exuberant floral composition in shades of rose, pink, lavender, violet, blue, green, and amber, the softly blended blossoms and foliage creating a luminous, atmospheric effect when illuminated. The shade is signed “Magnell” along the lower edge and is attributable to contemporary reverse-glass artist Nancy Magnell, whose work specializes in traditional reverse-painted glass techniques. The shade rests on an ornate dark patinated metal base with a flared foliate foot, elongated baluster-form standard, pierced heat cap, and finial; a magnet adheres to the base, indicating ferrous metal construction or components.
