Late 19th to early 20th century Victorian-style upholstered bench featuring an exceptionally decorative cast iron base with opposing openwork end supports modeled with stylized bird or peacock-like heads, scaled bodies, scrolling foliage, and sweeping foliate feet, joined by long twisted-iron stretchers that give the piece an airy architectural profile. The elongated rectangular seat is generously padded and upholstered in a textured woven fabric in muted gold, tan, and lavender tones, creating a warm contrast with the dark patinated ironwork. Condition appears good overall for age with expected oxidation, rubbing, finish loss, and surface wear to the iron; upholstery shows visible staining, discoloration, and general use wear, particularly across the seat surface, as photographed. Structurally presents well with the ornamental casting and twisted stretchers largely intact. Measures 18"H x 22"W x 10"D.
