A handsome Federal/Hepplewhite-style mahogany bowfront sideboard, likely dating to the late 19th century featuring a long gently shaped top above a central bowfront drawer and four-door cabinet arrangement, all raised on tall square tapered legs. The case displays attractive figured mahogany veneers accented with fine contrasting string inlay, while the doors and drawer retain distinctive oval brass ring pulls cast with the American eagle and “E Pluribus Unum” motif, lending the piece a strong Federal Revival character. The central double doors open to a spacious interior compartment, while the curved end doors provide additional storage. The sideboard presents with considerable decorative presence and a graceful, elongated profile well suited to a dining room or formal interior. Condition shows age-related surface wear including scratches, finish loss and abrasions, veneer checking and cracking, scattered separations, and evidence of previous use; most notably, the right-side door does not remain closed on its own and will require adjustment or repair to the closure. Overall structurally substantial with an appealing mellow mahogany surface and desirable patriotic brass hardware. Measures 40"H x 69"W x 25.75"D.
