Two Cybis hand-painted bisque porcelain figures from the Portraits in Porcelain collection. The first figure depicts Eleanor of Aquitaine in a standing pose holding a gilded crown, wearing a white gown with blue and gold foliate decorationand a single braid bound with red and blue cord. This piece is signed Cybis with a copyright symbol and the initials A.R. on the gown, with the base hand-numbered 1719. The second figure depicts Guinevere holding two pink water lilies andwearing a pale blue gown with gold, blue, and pink beaded trim and a matching snood. The base is signed Cybis U.S.A. and the underside features an impressed cygnet hallmark. This figure is hand-marked A.P. on the base, designating it as anArtist's Proof. Approximately 13 inches tall.These figures have mostly expected wear due to their age and wear. One damaged finger is present for repair.
