This lot features two bisque porcelain figurines produced by the Cybis porcelain studio of Trenton, New Jersey. Both figures are rendered in a characteristic matte finish with delicate hand-painted details. The first figurine, identifiedas Felicity, depicts a woman in 18th-century colonial attire. She wears a lavender-grey bodice with an ornate cross-laced front and a white ruffled neckline. Her blonde hair is accented with pink pearl beads, and her gown features subtlewhite floral patterning. The underside of this piece bears the Cybis script mark, U.S.A., and is numbered 116. It also includes a gold-toned 50th-anniversary commemorative stamp. The second figurine, identified as Belle of the Ball,portrays a standing woman in a pleated white gown with a gold waist sash and a flowing cloak. The cloak is lined in pink and decorated with trailing floral vines in shades of blue, pink, and purple. This piece is marked on the undersideThese figurines appear in nice condition with minor expected shelf wear to the bases consistent with age. Intricate floral and lace details remain well preserved.
