Description: This lot includes two pieces of original U.S. military field gear from the World War II era. Included is a canvas U.S. canteen cover with attached black plastic canteen and a separate U.S.-marked canvas cover for an entrenching tool (shovel). The canteen cover retains its quilted construction, snap closures, and hanging hardware. The entrenching tool cover features the classic U.S. stencil and adjustable web strap. These pieces display honest military service wear and make a nice addition to any WWII U.S. field gear collection or display. Estimated Date: 1940s Era/War: World War II Condition: * Includes one U.S. canteen with canvas cover and one U.S. entrenching tool cover. * Canteen retains black plastic body and screw cap with retaining chain. * Canvas shows expected age, staining, and storage wear. * Hardware and snaps appear present. * Sold exactly as photographed.
