Description This item came from a collector’s estate. Original U.S. military individual field heating kit consisting of a folding metal field stove, olive drab carrying bag, boxed Trioxane compressed ration heating fuel, waterproof match container with matches, and associated accessories. The included fuel box is marked "Fuel, Compressed, Trioxane – Ration Heating" with military specification MIL-F-10805C, a fuel commonly issued with U.S. military field stove kits during the Vietnam War era. The cloth bag bears military stencil markings. These compact heating kits were designed to warm C-rations and prepare hot beverages in the field and saw widespread use by U.S. forces during the Vietnam War.
