Description This item came from a collector’s estate. Original U.S. military T-handle folding shovel believed to be the airborne/paratrooper pattern, complete with its original canvas carrier. The carrier is marked CHASE BAG CO. and dated 1944, placing it in the World War II era. The shovel retains a substantial amount of its original green finish and is stamped "U.S." on the handle. The canvas carrier remains in very good condition with only light storage wear. A desirable World War II field gear item for collectors of U.S. airborne and military equipment.
