Description: This item came from a collector’s estate. Original U.S. M31 high explosive rifle grenade body fitted with an M12A2 grenade projection adapter. The adapter is marked "ADAPTER GRENADE PROJECTION M12A2," with Lot No. 000-500-12 and “1945 MOD 3-69.” The M31 rifle grenade was introduced during World War II and remained in U.S. military service through the Korean War and Vietnam War, with later upgrades and modifications. This example has been demilitarized/inert for display and collecting purposes. It retains its body, adapter assembly, safety lever, and pull ring as shown. Please review all photographs for markings, condition, and completeness.
