Description: This item came from a collector's estate. Soviet SSh-40 steel helmet shell associated with the World War II / Cold War era (circa 1940s–1950s). Retains its olive-green painted finish with visible service wear, scattered oxidation, and age-related patina. The interior liner and chinstrap are no longer present, leaving the shell only. The helmet exhibits honest age and storage wear with scratches, finish loss, surface rust, and two small holes drilled through the crown. A solid display or restoration candidate for collectors of military helmets.
