Lot Description: This item came from a collector’s estate. Lot includes an inert U.S. M26-style fragmentation hand grenade and an inert U.S. rifle practice grenade marked "GRENADE, RIFLE, PRACTICE" with visible lot markings. The M26 fragmentation grenade was introduced during the Korean War era (1950s) and remained in widespread U.S. military service throughout the Vietnam War. The rifle practice grenade was used for military training and rifle grenade instruction. The hand grenade body has been demilitarized (inert) with a drilled-out cavity, and the practice rifle grenade is also an inert display/training example. Both are intended for collecting or display only. Please examine all photographs for markings, condition, and completeness. Condition: * Both items are inert/demilitarized display examples. * M26-style grenade body has a drilled-out cavity. * Practice rifle grenade retains visible military markings. * Finish and wear consistent with age and storage. * See photographs for complete condition and included components. If you have any doubt, please attend the preview and examine all photographs closely before bidding.
