AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Framed hand worked needlework sampler measuring 19-1/2" by 15-1/2", presented within a wood frame under glass and worked upon what appears to be a linen fabric ground. The sampler presents the humorous hospitality verse: NO MATTER WHERE I SERVE MY GUESTS IT SEEMS THEY LIKE MY KITCHEN BEST The dark blue lettering is arranged among scrolling floral flourishes and small bird motifs, surrounded by a continuous rose and green vine border. The composition combines traditional sampler lettering and floral ornament with a familiar domestic sentiment celebrating the kitchen as the natural gathering place of the home. The reverse retains the original paper backing and is stamped CUSTOM FRAMES BY THE SNOOP SHOP ~ CENTREVILLE, MS, together with the handwritten date 4-80, documenting custom framing in April 1980.
