Rare PEZ CANDY AUSTRIA 1970s BLUE PANTHER NO FEET

AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A scarce vintage Panther PEZ candy dispenser featuring the desirable blue head variation with raised yellow eyes, pink nose and red stem. The dispenser retains the early no-feet construction favored by PEZ collectors and stands approximately standard full-size PEZ height. The molded Panther head presents rounded ears, an elongated muzzle and softly modeled facial features. Its unusual deep blue coloring, contrasting yellow eye insert and pink nose distinguish this version from the more familiar Panther color combinations and account for much of its collector interest. Comparable collector references specifically identify the variation as Panther, Blue Head, Pink Nose, Yellow Eyes. The lower stem is embossed U.S. PATENT 3,410,455 MADE IN AUSTRIA. That patent was issued in 1968, while the no-feet body and Austrian manufacture place the dispenser within the early vintage generation preceding the widespread addition of feet during the 1980s. The blue Panther is documented with red no-feet stems and appears considerably less often than ordinary later character dispensers, making this an appealing example for collectors seeking early Austrian PEZ, unusual color variations and vintage character dispensers. CONDITION REPORT > Retains the yellow eye and pink nose elements as shown. The head and dispensing mechanism seem functional. Overall, a notably well preserved example.
