AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A new, vintage stock Smathers & Branson Ole Miss needlepoint belt in marked size 36, featuring repeated red and white Ole Miss script and university Lyceum emblems against a rich blue ground. The collegiate design is finished with full grain brown leather tabs, coordinating keeper and a solid brass buckle. Smathers & Branson sizing is measured from the beginning of the leather tab to the center buckle hole, making this size 36 example approximately 36" to the center adjustment. The reverse is lined in full grain leather and impressed SMATHERS & BRANSON HAND STITCHED NEEDLEPOINT, with the original company hangtag remaining attached. The needlepoint panel is individually hand stitched with tightly worked red, white and blue threads, combining recognizable University of Mississippi imagery with the polished preppy style associated with Southern collegiate, tailgating and game day apparel. Presented within the original branded wooden gift box, which features finger joint construction, a hinged lid and the Smathers & Branson company information beneath the lid. Smathers & Branson was founded in 2004 by college roommates Peter Carter and Austin Branson after both received handmade needlepoint belts as gifts. The company developed the traditional craft into a recognizable line of collegiate, sporting and lifestyle accessories, with each belt finished in leather and fitted with a solid brass buckle.
