A religious souvenir medal struck in a silver-coloured base metal. The obverse features an architectural rendering of the Oratoire Saint-Joseph du Mont-Royal. The inscriptions SAINT JOSEPH and ORATOIRE are present, with the mark FRANCE stamped vertically on the right edge. The reverse depicts a crowned Saint Joseph with the crowned infant Jesus. The piece includes an integral suspension loop which is also stamped with the word FRANCE. Diameter approx. 22 mm. Condition: The medal exhibits significant surface wear and heavy toning across both faces. There are visible areas of greenish oxidation and surface tarnishing throughout the design. The raised relief details show substantial smoothing from handling and age.
