Two antique two-part hinged ice cream moulds of cast pewter construction. The first mould depicts a bunch of grapes resting on a vine leaf, with a finely detailed interior and a pinned hinge. The exterior lower edge is incised with the digits 3308. The second mould is shaped as a traditional bell with a decorative crown finial, with the exterior of the body incised with the number 505. Both items have a heavy dark grey patina typical of aged pewter. Dimensions measured against a tape measure: Grape mould: length approx. 11 cm Bell mould: height approx. 9.5 cm. Condition: Both items exhibit an aged patina and surface wear consistent with historical use. The grape mould shows more pronounced surface oxidation with some visible verdigris. The hinges are intact and appear to be in working order.
