This chromolithograph depicts the Last Supper in a traditional academic style, featuring a central scene of Jesus and the twelve apostles seated at a long table. Below the figures, an ornamental band contains the names of the subjects in German: BARTHOLOMÄUS, JACOBUS d. J., ANDREAS, JUDAS, PETRUS, JOHANNES, JESUS CHRISTUS, THOMAS, JACOBUS d. Ä., PHILIPPUS, MATHÄUS, THADÄUS, and SIMON. The print is housed in an ornate wooden frame decorated with intricate stenciled geometric patterns in black, red, and gold, reflecting a period religious folk-art aesthetic. No artist signature, edition number, or publisher marks are visible. The reverse is finished with a brown paper backing and hanging wire. Dimensions: approx. H 18.5 in x W 21.5 in (framed). Condition: The print displays minor overall paper toning and light handling marks. The frame shows expected surface wear, accumulated dust, and minor scuffing consistent with age. The brown paper backing on the reverse is fragile and torn. The work is free of visible restoration.
